Money Tree

Money Trees, aka Pachira Aquatica, also known as Guiana chestnut or Malabar chestnut, is a popular plant in homes and offices for its reputed ability to bring good luck and prosperity. It is easily recognized by its braided trunk and lush, green palmate leaves that fan out with a tropical flair. Originally from Central and South America, where it grows in swamps, the Money Tree is a hardy plant that adapts well to indoor environments. The braided money tree as we know it was actually first cultivated by a truck driver in Taiwan, and quickly became popular in Japan and East Asia, also becoming associated with the Chinese practice of Feng Shui, making it a favoured choice for enhancing interior decor and promoting positive energy.
